Merry And Macabre Point-And-Click Adventure Foolish Mortals Launching Kickstarter And Demo In October

It would be foolish not to check this out

Inklingwood Studios has announced that it’s launching a Kickstarter and a demo for its upcoming point-and-click adventure Foolish Mortals in October.

Billed as a merry and macabre adventure game, Foolish Mortals is set in 1933 and sees Murphy McCallan on the hunt for the lost treasure of Bellemore Manor, a place in which a wedding party vanished years ago. On his hunt, McCallan will come face to face with ghosts, voodoos, and an evil phantom who wants the treasure for themselves. Inspired by genre heavy-hitters Monkey Island and Broken Sword, and with a cast of eccentric characters and complex puzzles, Inklingwood Studios is promising a classic adventure game experience.

As someone who is a big fan of point-and-click adventures, I’m really digging what I’m seeing from Foolish Mortals so far. If you like the sound of Foolish Mortals you can chuck it on your Wishlist via the game’s Steam page.

What do you think of Foolish Mortals? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
