Monster Hunter Wilds Launch Trailer Shows A Ton Of Huntable Monsters, And One Returning Favourite That Just Wants To Fart On You

Oh no, not like this

We’re half way through February, or as us Monster Hunter fans like to call it – the month where Monster Hunter Wilds comes out.

So of course, there is one more giant trailer to celebrate the impending launch of the game – and giant is the word for it. The show stopping deluge of monster reveals, cinematic moments and mechanic teases is immense:

The trailer gives us a look at some of the new and returning monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds, showing off a few familiar faces in the form of Yian Kut-Ku and the ever gassy Congalala – ready to blast us in blisteringly high definition. There are a few other mugs to be seen, but they are shown in such a rapid way one can only imagine they are saving the formal introduction for when players find them in the game. I am very keen to meet the fiery dude with the massive chin.

We also get a name for the behemoth apex predator of the Iceshard Cliffs – Jin Dahaad, an enormous armoured ice dragon whose size may well bely his agility considering the same trailer seemingly shows the huge creature hanging from an icy roof.

The day is nearly upon us, so take this time to really marinate in what this huge monster hunting title has to offer.
