Monster Hunter Wilds Reveals Icy New Locale And Returning Monsters Nerscylla And Gore Magala

We also see Arkveld in action

The Official Capcom Spotlight delivered a ton of exciting and incredible information for Monster Hunter Wilds, with a whole new biome being shown off in the form of the Iceshard Cliffs – as well as an amazing spread of new and returning beasties.

In the trailer, we see the intrepid hunting crew checking out the frigid caverns – being accosted by new monster Hirabami, who seems to keep some friends handy – before being wiped away by some behemoth monster that has yet to be named.

We also get to see the web weaving Nerscylla make a big return, before the real big name drops a sneaky reveal at the very end.

Yeah, that’s right – you thought Gore Magala being in Monster Hunter Rise had earned you a reprieve? Well, you are dead wrong.

Eagle-eyed hunters clearly noticed a very large un-named creature in the trailer, that pops up to bully the Hirabami in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment:

Most are speculating that this may well the alpha of the Iceshard cliffs, filling a similar role to Rey Dau and the like. As for a name, or what they do – well obviously they are leaving some surprises for when the game comes out later this month.

It is an allstar cast of creates so far, and we are mere weeks from the full release for the game – What has you the most excited? Let us know in the comments below or over on social media.
