The Monster Hunter crew have shared some New Year’s Greetings heading into 2025, with a joyful video that announces a second Open Beta Test in anticipation of the games full launch on February 28.
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto welcomes us all to the year of Monster Hunter Wilds, showcasing some of the new features that will be available in the beta test, including the return of the rowdy wyvern Gypceros:
Being so close to the games full release, this beta will also offer some goodies for players to take with them into the full release, including a decorative charm for your weapon or Seikret mount and an ‘item pack’ to be redeemed later.
Monster Hunter Wilds’ second open beta goes live February 6, so if you are itching for more after the first one (or perhaps missed it entirely) make sure your calendar is clear for some wild hunting action. If you can’t make that period, a further opportunity will be live on February 13 – so you get double the chance to give the game a crack before release.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches on February 28, 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
