As divisive as No Man’s Sky was on launch (we gave it a 7), developers Hello Games deserve a great deal of recognition for sticking with their title and turning it into a solid experience post-release.
After multiple free updates introduced base-building, proper multiplayer features, a huge amount of quality of life improvements and full VR support (we gave the VR update an 8.5), No Man’s Sky is genuinely worth playing.
Initially launching only on PS4, the game has since found its way onto PC and Xbox One. Earlier today, Hello Games announced that crossplay between all three systems, a long-awaited feature, will be introduced via an update that will go live tomorrow (July 12).
Additionally, No Man’s Sky will be added to Xbox Game Pass tomorrow (July 12) and will be available to download on Xbox One and PC.
