PAX Aus 2023’s Storytime Keynote Speaker Will Be The Wonderfully Talented Voice-Over Artist Erika Ishii

PAX Australia has announced that the special guest Storytime Keynote speaker for PAX Aus 2023 will be voice-over artist Erika Ishii.

Best known for her voice-over as Valkryie in Apex Legends, Ishii also boasts countless other video game credits, such as Ana Bray and Kidris from Destiny 2, Kitsune from Call of Duty: Warzone, Lumu from Halo Infinite, and Ruth from Cyberpunk 2077. Outside of the gaming scene, Ishii can also be found on the insanely popular Dungeons & Dragons series Dimension 20, as well as various shows on Drop Out, like Game Changers.

Erika will undoubtedly bring her own brand of high-energy chaos to the Storytime Keynote, which will take place at 12pm AEST on October 6 in the main theatre, so be sure not to miss it.

Alongside this incredible announcement, several other guests have also been revealed for PAX weekend. Ben Prendergast, the voice-over artist behind Tyr from God of War: Ragnarok and Fuse from Apex Legends, will be making an appearance, as well as Jenny Yokobori of Genshin Impact and Street Fighter 6 fame.

Elsewhere, the concert for PAX Aus 2023 will be The Consouls, a Sydney-based jazz group that recently contributed to the soundtrack for Advanced Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp. John Robinson will also return to host another episode of his long-running Twitch series, The Dark Room. Among many, many other exciting acts, the Back Pocket team, including Stephanie Bendixsen and Gus “Goose” Ronald, will be running an “interactive extravaganza” in the Quokka Theatre on Saturday, so carve out some time for that as well.

Phew, that’s a whole lot of guests and shows to attend.
