Of all the things we all thought we were hoping for during Nintendo’s latest presentation, a shadow drop of Penny’s Big Breakaway wasn’t one of them. Yet here we are, with the much anticipated 3D platformer launching during the Switch Partner Presentation, and not just on Nintendo’s handheld.
Penny’s Big Breakaway comes to us from the same team that brought the magic to Sonic Mania, and promises plenty of colourful platforming, enjoyable yo-yo action and plenty of clever humour. We previewed the game a little while ago and were left impressed with the early hands-on, saying it “feels like it’s on the right path towards a positive outcome”
