Atlus and SEGA have been teasing something Persona 5-related for a while, with a project that we knew up until now as Persona 5 R.
Today though, after a Persona 5 anime special, a teaser trailer was played that finally revealed the game to be titled Persona 5: The Royal. Not much else was made clear in the short video aside from a new female character (who may or may not be a new playable protagonist) and a platform — the PlayStation 4.
That’s right, those of us hoping for the reveal to be a Switch port of Persona 5 look to be disappointed, though nothing is ruled out at this stage, of course.
