Player 2’s Charity Marathon Returns For 2023 With Tons Of Prizes Up For Grabs

Raising money for a great cause

Our good friends at Player 2 have announced that their annual Charity Marathon for the Terry Campese Foundation is returning for 2023 on January 28.

The Terry Campese Foundation was started by ex-Australian, NSW and Canberra Raider player Terry Campese to help those doing it tough in his home region. 2023 marks the sixth year for the fundraiser, with the total raised across the six years more than $22,000.

This year’s efforts will see all money raised going to the Breaking the Cycle program, which sees teens from troubled backgrounds join forces to receive training, life skills coaching and team-building, followed by a trip to Papua New Guinea to complete the Kokoda track. The program has a 90% success rate of participants going on to secure employment or enrol in further study.

All donations of $5 or more will go into the running to win from a tasty pool of prizes, including hardware from SteelSeries, PlayStation and Xbox. The full list of prizes will be available closer to the event.

If you’re keen to get involved and donate, you can do so here. Otherwise you can catch all the action on Twitch or YouTube on January 28.
