The Pokémon Company has dropped two important tweets in a manner of minutes. The first one is a release date of November 19, 2021 for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the 1:1 remasters of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. We also get our first look at the box art and I think it looks clean and slick.

The second and most important tweet was the surprise announcement of a release date for Pokémon Legends Arceus, which we previously only had an early 2022 window for. If you’ve been living under a Graveller this is an open world Pokémon RPG set in the Sinnoh of old. I can’t be more excited about this game. Pokemon Legends Arceus is releasing on January 28, 2022. Once again the artists in charge of the box art have done an amazing job.
