RoboCop: Rogue City Gets A September Release Window Alongside New Gameplay Trailer

Murphy’s law

RoboCop: Rogue City had a very loose release window for many moons, but now we have something a little firmer – September 2023. This news comes to us alongside a very raw gameplay trailer, showcasing the investigative nature of being a cybernetic cop in futuristic Detroit, and what happens when negotiation is no longer an option.

While I am absolutely keen for the ultimate RoboCop experience, I can’t help but note how the gameplay does look a little stiff and robotic – even by RoboCop standards. Will this appeal to the general populace of gamers? Or just the elite fans of Paul Verhoeven’s political satire? The same team developed Terminator: Resistance in 2019, which was described as not ground breaking, but beloved by fans of the property.

Are you keen to step into the clomping boots of RoboCop? Are you the good cop or the bad cop? Let us know.
