If you are in need of a gaming fix but only have a few minutes to spare, Rocket League really is the perfect fit. On the opposite side of the fence, if you have an entire afternoon to kill, Rocket League can easily do that too.
It’s addictive as all hell, easy to learn, hard to master and most of all a good bit of fun. With everyone stuck indoors for the most part, servers are chock full of people playing online as well, meaning matchmaking is a dream right now.
Better yet, developer Psyonix has just announced Rocket League’s newest limited-time mode Heatseeker, available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC between April 16-20.
In Heatseeker, a 3v3 match type, the ball automatically gravitates towards the opposition’s goal every time you hit it. If the ball misses and hits the backboard however, the ball will turn tail and head straight for your own goal. The ball gains speed every time it collides with a player or the backboard, so make sure you’re thinking quick.
You can guarantee that I’ll be jumping into Rocket League to play Heatseeker between April 16-20.
Are you a Rocket League fan? Will you give Heatseeker a go? Let us know.
