The long-awaited multiplayer component for CI Games’ Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has gone live today for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The multiplayer update is also supplemented by additional fixes for the game. The update weighs in at 14.636GB (PS4). CI Games has also revealed that Season Pass owners will receive more content next week, although it wasn’t specified what that content would be.
Initially multiplayer was only going to be available for PS4 and PC players, with Xbox One receiving the mode within “one to two weeks time” according to CI Games. Thankfully, CI Games has confirmed that all three platforms will receive the multiplayer update at the same time.
The multiplayer update will include the following modes and features:
Multiplayer support:
- 3 game modes available:
- Sharpshooter
- Bounty Hunter
- Team Deathmatch
- 4 maps available:
- Village
- Monastery
- Wind Tunnel
- Frozen Lake
- 2 additional maps in DLC:
- Containers
- Canyon map
- Players will be able to use most of the rifles from single-player campaign:
- 9 sniper rifles
- 7 side arms
- 24 character models including Lydia and Raquel
- New multiplayer specific gadgets
