There seems to be no end of Nintendo Switch 2 leaks in the interwebs these days, but it isn’t often that they come with some very compelling fact checks to back them up.
Emerging from the Baidu Tieba forums, a Reddit user has reposted some images of the Nintendo peripherals and their sockets and such:

Frustratingly not showing the very front of the unit, we can still see the new and improved shoulder buttons and magnetic wizard-holes that apprently snap the item to the main console.
The fun part of this little revelation is that astute viewers have noticed that the Serial number on the back of the unit can be checked using Nintendo’s website:
In case you’re wondering, the serial number is accepted on Nintendo‘s website if you enter it. So yeah, it’s real. bsky.app/profile/necr…

While this doesn’t expressly prove truth (someone could have still have masterfully trolled us all) it still leads into another rabbit hole where people are suggesting that the Joy-Con units have another trick up their sleeve – namely, pseudo-mouse control:
u/nexthandheld has been hinting that the surprise feature uses lasers, and here they suggest that they could be used for something similar to the “lego” which he later clarifies that he means “LeGo” which is likely short for the Lenovo “Legion Go.” The Legion Go’s main gimmick is that the “joycons” can be used as a mouse.
While designed as a meme, another user even shows a pretty excellent size comparison:

This gives a great look at how the SL and SR buttons are a great deal easier to user (without needing a special sleeve).
Surely any day now we can look forward to a formal reveal, because the number of secrets regarding the console are rapidly dwindling.
