Square Enix Is Bringing A Whole Bunch Of Final Fantasy To PAX East

So much FF, Tidus wouldn’t have time to laugh

The OG JRPG overlords Square Enix will be bringing a juicy slew of Final Fantasy news and remasters as well as the much hyped Dragon Quest Builders 2 to PAX East later this month.

Fans who visit the booth during the convention will be in store for a whole bunch of activities including panels, playable demos and could win some really cool stuff in exclusive giveaways.

One of the big events includes the dragon smashing Final Fantasy XIV: Seiryu Battle Challenge. Players with enough skill who can actually defeat the horny boi can snag an exclusive t-shirt to show everyone else you are cooler than them. Feeling photogenic? You could also try your hand at some selfies to win a Dragon Quest Builders 2 slime plush by snapping a photo with said plushie and posting it on Twitter or Instagram.

On top of this you’ll have a chance to snag

  • Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! buttons
  • Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia, Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross], and Star Ocean: Anamnesis buttons
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2 double-sided poster
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age double-sided poster
  • Final Fantasy XIV Online foam dark knight swords
  • Left Alive double-sided poster

All this dragon stomping, giveaway goodness and plushie papparazi may bring the thirst, so if you are a connoisseur of really weird beverages you can try the Tidus and Yuna’s Grape Elixir by grabbing a promotional card to redeem at Kung Fu Tea locations throughout Boston. Tasty!

PAX East takes place Mar. 28-31 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre.
