IEM Katowice is a global, 76-player tournament that includes both WCS Korea and Circuit players as they battle for a share of the $250,000 USD prize pool and a guaranteed spot at the WCS Global Finals, taking place later this year.
Players at IEM Katowice earned their places through both online qualifiers (divided by region), as well as an onsite tournament at the event. Starting today, Friday, 3 March, elimination round-robin matches will begin, with playoffs on Saturday, 4 March from 10:00pm AEDT. The semifinals and Grand Final will take place on Sunday, 5 March from 10:00pm AEDT.
The full schedule can be found on the StarCraft II WCS website. All matches will be streamed live on the ESL StarCraft II Twitch Channel.
