SteelSeries Announces The Wireless Arctis GameBuds

SteelSeries Arctis goes small

Leading gaming peripheral maker SteelSeries has announced the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds, a wireless earbud solution for gamers who want the technology powering the Arctis headsets but in a lifestyle form factor that will launch on October 29.

The Arctis GameBuds will retail for A$359 and NZ$399.99 and will be available in black and white models for PS5, PC, Switch and mobile, and a black model for Xbox players. Pre-orders are open now on the SteelSeries website.

As they’re part of the Arctis family, users can expect the company’s premium audio experience, with 360-degree spatial audio, active noise cancelling, and Arctis mobile app support that lets users choose between over 100 game-specific presets, allowing them to enjoy the most immersive audio experience possible.

SteelSeries claims that the Arctis GameBuds will have “all-day battery life” with the case offering 40 hours per charge and the buds getting up to 10 hours of use at a time, and also supporting Qi wireless charging. The Arctis GameBuds will also have dual connectivity, allowing users to utilise a Bluetooth 5.3 connection and a dongle connection between two devices, which supports quick switching when triple-tapping the earbud.
