Giant Squid, developers behind the critically acclaimed Journey and The Pathless, has today announced its new game, Sword of the Sea. Shown off at the PlayStation Showcase event, Sword of the Sea will set players loose in a gorgeous new fantasy setting, riding a hoverboard sword dubbed the…Hoversword. In this world, it looks as if you’ll be manipulating time to switch between stunning vistas of water and sand.
“Our incredible team of artists has been hard at work bringing this unique and captivating world to life–from architecture and color to lighting, landscapes and music: be prepared to immerse yourself in a world unlike any you’ve experienced before,” says creative director Matt Neva via the PlayStation blog.
