Dangerous stuff this, making concept controllers that look altogether far too convincing.
Hailing from the awesome @POPeART_ on social media, this Bluey controller brought my morning scroll to a screeching halt – if only to triple check I had not missed a PREORDER NOW button anywhere. But alas, it is just a concept.

POPe A. is a Creative Director for entities like Embracer Group and CRKD, with a knack for designing some killer peripheral concepts. All manner of epic tie-in items exist, ranging across all manner of video games, classic films and anime. He has even done a RoboCop Xbox sleeve concept, and it’s every bit at epic as you could imagine.
The Bluey controller nails the clean cartoonish fun you’d expect from such a mainstay of modern parenting – gorgeously coloured in the clean tones of the happy heeler child. While I’d love to see a Bingo-inspired player two controller, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to wanting to see Burt Handsome himself appear with a ‘Big Daddy Man’ controller avec Bandit.
Taking a cursory glance at his Instagram will reveal a crazy amount of stellar concepts that will have you depressed they aren’t real. But hey, maybe if enough people discuss and ogle them we can eventually see some kind of licensing deal pop up down the line?
