The Council has been one of the most surprising titles so far this year, with its engaging narrative-based RPG mechanics creating an exciting choose your own adventure of sorts. The series from Focus Home Interactive and Big Bad Wolf is three episodes into its five-episode season, and today the Frech publisher has revealed that players who own the Season Pass can play the fourth episode, Burning Bridges, on September 25, while the episode will be available for purchase on September 27 on PS4, Xbox One and Steam.
Players can expect rivalries to clash, skeletons to be pulled out of the closet and allegiances to be explained as we move towards the story’s crescendo.
The Council is a third-person narrative-driven adventure game set in 1793 in which your choices have important and lasting consequences. Players assume the role of Louis de Richet – a member of a secret society known as the Golden Order – who has arrived on Lord Mortimer’s island in search of his missing mother.
