Google has announced the Google Pixel 10a smartphone, the latest entry in its mid-tier Pixel lineup, and it’s releasing on March 5 and starting at $849 with pre-orders available now.
Powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chip (the same chip under the hood of the Pixel 9 family), the Pixel 10a rocks a 6.3-inch OLED Actua display that provides a 60-120Hz refresh rate, 30+ hours of battery life, 8GB RAM, a dual-wide 48 MP main camera and 13 MP ultrawide camera, plus a 13 MP selfie camera, and comes in 128GB and 256GB of storage with Fog, Obsidian, Berry and Lavender colour options.
While the Pixel 10a shares a lot of traits with its 9a sibling, including the flat design, this latest version features improved battery life and faster charging, with up to 120 hours of juice when using Extreme Battery Saver, an 11% brighter display, and a camera system that includes Google’s popular Camera Coach and Auto Best Take tools.

Google has once again increased the amount of recycled materials used, with the Pixel 10a made from 36% recycled materials (compared to the Pixel 9a’s 23%), and owners will get seven years of OS support from the date of release.
