Nintendo is continuing its recent trend of surprise announcements, this time with a Fire Emblem flavour. The new trailer initially follows the trope of calling out all the Smash Bros. fans that ever asked ‘Who the hell is Marth?’. We then get the announcement that for the first time the original 1990 Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, has been translated to English and will be available outside of Japan. The game will be available digitally on December 4. There will also be a cool looking physical 30th Anniversary edition also releasing on December 4, so if you’re a big fan of the franchise you may want to pick it up.
Check it out in the trailer below:
It took 30 years but it finally happened! Will you take this opportunity on December 4 to go back in time or are you hoping that this will mean some other ye’ olde game gets a new lease on life?
