This Fan Remastered Super Mario World OST Is A Great Dose Of Nostalgia

Mario games are full of iconic music, we all know the main theme song in all its traditional 8-bit glory. Super Mario World saw us move to 16-bit tunes and sure there are plenty of retro bangers in this game too. Thanks to a big leak of Nintendo files last year (aka Gigaleak), including the source code of the 2002 Game Boy Advance re-release of Super Mario World, some clever data mining fans have taken the compressed sounds and released them on YouTube as remastered lossless versions. The Brickster, who is also the owner of the YouTube account the videos are posted to explains more background on the process on Twitter:

My favourites have to be the remastered Overworld theme and Athletic theme, you can find them as they are completed in this playlist.
