THQ has continued (and potentially concluded) their streak of daily announcements leading up to E3 with one of galactic proportions. Cult PS2 classic Destroy All Humans! is getting a remake.
Announced today via a CG teaser trailer exclusively on IGN, there’s very little else in the way of information around the remake other than a vague 2020 release date and a lock on PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
Between this and the newly announced remake of Spongebob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom it really seems as though THQ have (rightfully) identified the PS2 as the golden era of gaming that everyone wants to see return. Perhaps this bodes well for a TimeSplitters remake after all, hmm?
