Total War: WARHAMMER – New Release Date And PC Specs Announced

War never changes

Today SEGA and Creative Assembly announced a change to the release date for Total War: WARHAMMER, moving the launch of the game back by a month to the 24th May 2016.

“This could be the best Total War game we’ve ever made. We don’t want to rush it.” said Mike Simpson, Creative Director for Total War, “It’s an enormous game and we also want to make absolutely sure reviewers have enough time to play it thoroughly before launch. Many thanks to the huge number of people who have pre-ordered and are eagerly awaiting release day. We’re pulling out all the stops for you.”

With the game now set to release worldwide on the 24th May, the minimum and recommended specs have been finalised, revealing that Total War: WARHAMMER will be the first 64Bit Total War title. CA is also releasing an additional ‘60fps+ Spec’ for those gamers looking to hit that threshold during battles, and has added additional detail on the frame rate performance you can expect from each specification.

A fantasy strategy game of legendary proportions, Total War: WARHAMMER combines an addictive turn-based campaign of conquest and empire-building with explosive, colossal, real-time battles, all set in the vivid and incredible world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Total War: WARHAMMER will release on May 24th 2016 and is available now to pre-order.
