Publisher Modus Games and developer Frozenbyte have today announced that their upcoming release Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince will release on October 8.
Trine 4 will also launch alongside Trine: Ultimate Collection, a bundle that contains Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2: Complete Story, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, and Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince.
To mark the announcement of the Trine 4 and Trine: Ultimate Collection release date, Modus Games and Frozenbyte dropped a new trailer for Trine 4, showcasing its cooperative gameplay, which allows up to four players for the first time in the Trine series.
If you’re interested in Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince and haven’t ever delved into the Trine games, I recommend getting the Trine: Ultimate Collection, as you can then at least experience the whole series from start to what might be the finish. I myself have only played Trine 2, but I really found myself enjoying the 2D side-scrolling puzzler.
Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince and Trine: Ultimate Collection will be releasing October 8 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
