Earlier this week during Gamescom Bandai Namco announced that the release date for Unknown 9: Awakening has been set for October 18. The third-person action-adventure game from Reflector Entertainment will launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
The release date was revealed alongside a new live action trailer that sees Anya Chalotra (Yennefer from Netflix’s The Witcher) portray the game’s protagonist Haroona, a woman born with a connection to the Fold, a parallel dimension that gifts her powers she’s able to use in our world to ensure that the Fold and its secrets remain safe and out of the wrong hands.
Unknown 9: Awakening is the latest entry in the Unknown 9 transmedia universe that spans comic books, podcasts, novels and more. Fans of the series will pick up on callouts and crossovers, while for new players, Awakening is the perfect entry point.
