The fledgling Epic Games store has so far been making good on its promise to provide a steady feed of one free game every two weeks, and now between January 10th and 24th you could be the proud temporary owner of arguably one of the best titles of 2017 – What Remains of Edith Finch.
I described What Remains of Edith Finch as ‘an evocative journey through fantasy, memory, tragedy, and everything in-between’, scoring it a perfect 10 in my review and naming it my GOTY of 2017. If you’re a fan of walking simulators in the vein of Gone Home and Firewatch , and want to feel real feelings again, then you can’t really look past this title. It’s also a fairly bite-sized experience, so you’ll be back to your backlog before it even knows you’re gone.
