Chad Grenier, the former game director of Apex Legends, has announced his new studio Wildlight Entertainment, which features former devs on several AAA titles such as Titanfall, Call of Duty, and The Last of Us Part II.
The bulk of the team is former Respawn developers who worked on Apex Legends and/or Titanfall, most of whom have been with Wildlight for longer than six months, with some joining the new venture just over a year ago.

The Wildlight Entertainment website states that the company is a “fully-funded entertainment studio hyper-focused on creating big, bold, original gaming universes of epic quality and scale.”

Wildlight confirms it has been working on a new IP for a while, however an announcement sharing those details is still a ways off. We look forward to hearing about what the studio is creating.
