World Of Warcraft’s Future Content Plan Is So Massive It Needs Two Roadmaps

Something for everyone

The World of Warcraft landscape is a vast and varied one nowadays. Once upon a time, you might ask someone what server they play on – or what Class is their main.

But now, you need to ask what type of WoW do you play – and it is quite neat. Do they play Retail World of Warcraft, basking in the glow of the latest expansion and the mythic group options that await? Or do they play WoW: Classic, either by way of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, Hardcore Ruleset or Seasonal experiment.

To that end, the World of Warcraft team has rolled out a massive set of roadmaps to show off how every flavour of the WoW options will grow in 2024.

Players of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight may still be recovering from felling the threat of Fyrakk, but there is still plenty of meat on the bone for players – leading right up to the pre-content for the next expansion, World of Warcraft: The War Within.

For connoisseurs of the WoW: Classic menu, a veritable feast of  content awaits – seeing the Wrath of the Lich King content start it’s wrap up phase in preparation for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm to split things wide open again, while those that are still bravely facing the challenge of the Hardcore ruleset can enjoy a double-down of that mode with the ‘Self Found’ mode coming early next year.

As for the Season of Discovery community, they have several phases of content rolling out – raising the level cap and unearthing new runes and mysteries. It’s a vibrant and life-filled group, so it is no surprise that all that news has people salivating.

Essentially, it’s a hugely exciting range of goodies for any and all Warcraft warriors – from every angle, there is something delightful awaiting you in 2024.
