If you are keen to get back to the frozen wastes, perhaps you wish to also splash some coin of the added goodies that can accommodate your journey.
If that is the case, there are two flavours of deluxe editions for Wrath of the Lich King Classic now available for purchase on the Battle.net shop.

First up, there is the Northrend Heroic Upgrade, offering the ability to boost a character to level 70, where they will also come with:
- Expert Riding skill
- A race-specific epic ground mount
- A faction-specific rare flying mount
- Weapon skills up to level 70
- Access to Azeroth and Outland flight paths
- A set of level 70 Uncommon (green) quality gear
- Up to four Draenic Leather Pack bags (14 slots each)
- A little bit of gold to start their journey
You will also get an adorable (horrifying) penguin pet, and a special in-game item that summon a Tuskarr (walrus person) to be your on-demand fishing buddy!
Then, if you feel like dropping a little MORE dosh – there is also the optional Northrend Epic Upgrade.
Get your hands on:
- The Kalu’ak Whalebone Glider, a flying mount for your Classic characters for use only in Wrath of the Lich King Classic and designed to match the look of the original expansion
- The Tuskarr Shoreglider, a flying mount variant for use in modern World of Warcraft (including Shadowlands and Dragonflight) and reflecting the game’s current visual style
- 30 days of World of Warcraft game time, providing access to WoW Classic Era realms, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and the modern game
Of course, this is all suuuper optional stuff. The best part of Classic World of Warcraft is that it is entirely accessed via a standard WoW Subscription, so any and all of these nifty doodads are purely gravy.
Delicious, penguin/walrus flavoured gravy.
