Today, Major Nelson unveiled what games would mark the beginning of a new year for Xbox Live Gold subscribers as a part of the Xbox Live Games With Gold Program. It has pretty big shoes to fill, not only because it’s the new year, but because in December Gold subscribers received Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, Outlast and Far Cry: Blood Dragon. As usual, the 360 titles are backwards compatible with the Xbox One.

- World of Van Helsing: Death Trap – January 1-31
- Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition – January 16 – February 15
Xbox 360:
- The Cave – January 1-15
- Rayman Origins – January 16-31
