Welcome back, Guardians, to the Xürday Times issue #2! Xür is back in the Tower and he has brought an inventory of goodies for us. Let’s hope he isn’t a toolbox and disappoints us again.
Let’s take a look at his probably disappointing inventory:
HE HAS IT! HE HAS THE GJALLARHORN! For those of you who are unaware, the Gjallarhorn is one of the most sought after exotic weapons in game. It’s exotic perk “wolfpack rounds” are like cluster bombs where extra explosives are released upon detonation. However, unlike cluster bombs, they seek targets and deal high damage. This is being sold for 17 strange coins.
For Titans he has the Insurmountable Skullfort, notably used for it’s ability to recover health upon picking up an orb of light. This was mainly used in Crota’s End Hard Mode, where Crota lacks a health recovery system. Sold for 13 strange coins.
Hunters, he has the Achlyophage Symbiote. This is probably the best Gunslinger exotic for PVP as it gives you an extra Golden Gun shot. Sold for 13 strange coins.
Warlocks, you have your Keeper Of The Pack exotic, the Light Beyond Nemesis. This helmet allows users to generate more orbs of light and reduces how long it takes to be revived for both people being revived by a user, or reviving the user. Sold for 13 strange coins.
He is also selling the gauntlet exotic engrams for those of you who are seeking the Nothing Manacles, Khepri’s Sting or Don’t Touch Me gauntlets. Auto rifle, hand cannon and machine gun telemetries for those of you who want to level up those guns faster (1 strange coin). Exotic shards for 7 strange coins. The plasma drive and emerald coil for upgrading those blue, rare quality sparrows (23 strange coins), heavy ammo synthesis for 1 strange coin (gives 5) and 1 mote of light (2 strange coins).
What did you purchase today? Was it the Gjallarhorn? Thank you for tuning into the Xürday Times this week. Tune in next week for issue #3! Until next week,
Guardians out!
