This on of the many in-engine cutscenes that star your player character throughout the title, and introduces you to the forces of darkness that impact your journey.

It’s a great example of how the visual storytelling within Diablo IV is more interwoven with your character. Seeing your poor newbie dealing with the fiends of the dark does a lot to motivate your gameplay experience!
