Trippy VR Adventure Paper Beast Gets A March Release Date

Paper view

As one of the most interesting-looking surprises of the PlayStation’s final State of Play presentation for last year, I’ve had my eye on Paper Beast ever since. From the creative brain of Eric Chahi, the designer behind classics like Another World and one of the most notable experimental games of last generation, From Dust, this new PlayStation VR exclusive takes cues from the latter in presenting players with a reactive, physics-based world full of puzzles to solve and mystery to uncover. It’s all about interacting with the environment, the papercraft-like animals and learning about the ecosystem that reacts naturally to the player. It looks wild.

And the best part? It’s coming out in just two weeks! Alongside a brand new trailer, developer Pixel Reef has announced that Paper Beast will launch for PSVR on March 24, 2020. Check out that trailer right here:

In other news that really gets my blood pumping, the Paper Beast soundtrack will also be available in a double LP vinyl pressing from G4F Records as well as a digital download on Bandcamp. Love that for us.
