Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series Is Heading To PlayStation VR This Year

V(ade)R goodness

Star Wars Day (May the Fourth) is rolling on and the news keeps coming. We’ve seen an update for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, now we get a full game making its way to a new platform.

Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series has, up until this point, been exclusive to Oculus. This Star Wars experience sees you in the service of Darth Vader himself. Set in Vader’s castle on Mustafar, the game takes place across three episodes and allows you to wield a Lightsaber as well as multiple force abilities as you fight against Stormtroopers and the heavy breathing Sith himself.

Announced via the PlayStation Blog, Vader Immortal is finally making its way to PlayStation VR this Winter, so PS4 owners won’t need to wait much longer to get a Lightsaber in their virtual hands. All three episodes will be bundled together for the PS4 launch, so expect the package to cost around AU$45-50, as each episode is AU$14.99 on the Oculus store.

Take a look at the trailer below (trailer is for Oculus):
