Nintendo has announced the pricing for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass, the newly revealed membership tier that gives players access to a library of Sega Mega Drive and Nintendo 64 titles that launches on October 26.
This new subscription tier will cost AU$59.95 for 12 months or AU$109.95 for the Family Membership. This is a pretty big jump considering the current Switch Online Membership, which already includes access to a list of retro games, is priced at AU$29.95 (AU$59.95 for Family Membership).
#NintendoSwitchOnline + Expansion Pack launches 26/10! This membership includes…
– Nintendo 64 games
– Access to #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons – Happy Home Paradise from 05/11
– SEGA Mega Drive games

Don’t light your torches and sharpen your pitchforks just yet though. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Parade DLC that was announced during this morning’s Direct will be included in the cost of this new tier. This DLC alone is priced at AU$37.50, so Animal Crossing fans will likely see the value.
