Chapter 23 is based on the Japanese mystery horror Ringu (The Ring). Ringu is based around a cursed videotape that kills people seven days after watching it. Ringu’s protagonist is Sadako Yamamura, a girl who possesses psychic powers, and was thrown down a well where she died, and whose spirit lives on in the tape in question.
Dead by Daylight’s newest chapter drops March 2022.
