Arkane Austin have dropped a creepy new story trailer for their upcoming open world, story-driven shooter Redfall – positing the salient question of “What the hell is going on in the island town of Redfall, Massachusetts?”
It really is a dark dive into how the whole ordeal started, alongside an introduction to some of the bigger personalities that are waiting to drain your veins:
The trailer does a lot to introduce some fun narrative elements to uncover, such as the medical background of the bloodsuckers, and the dynamic of having vampire worshipping cultists to deal with alongside the more supernatural baddies. It looks like a pretty radical romp to be enjoyed with friends – and I am downright keen to give it a kick when it drops in a little over a month.
Redfall will release on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 2.
