Bethesda Softworks has announced Marvel’s Blade, currently in development at Arkane Lyon.
Announced during The Game Awards, Blade is based on Marvel Comics’ resident bloodsucker, with the reveal trailer showing the leatherbound badarse getting a fresh trim before setting out to kill some vampires. While the trailer itself is cinematic and short, we did get confirmation that Blade will be a single-player, third-person action game set in the heart of Paris.
We don’t know much more than that at this stage, but Arkane Lyon was the team behind Dishonored and Deathloop, so they know a thing or two about moving through the shadows and traversing using unconventional means. All in all, it’s going to be interesting to see what they do with the Daywalker.
