A Nintendo Direct Focusing On Super Mario Bros. Wonder Is Happening This Week

Wonderful

Nintendo has announced that a Nintendo Direct Showcase focusing on the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be livestreaming on September 1 at 12am AEST.

Announced on X (Twitter), this Direct will run for roughly 15 minutes and will provide an “in-dpeth look at Mario’s latest 2D side-scrolling adventure.” The game itself was revealed during June’s stacked Nintendo Direct, showing off its reality-warping gameplay and classic Mario side-scrolling action.

Kicking you right in the nostaligia centre, this will be the first Mario title to release after the retirement of long-time voice actor Charles Martinet. Mario won’t be voiced by the recognisable (and lovely) man, which feels awfully strange indeed.

Are you looking forward to Wonder? Will you be staying up late to watch the Direct? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
