Nintendo has announced that a Nintendo Direct Showcase focusing on the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be livestreaming on September 1 at 12am AEST.
Announced on X (Twitter), this Direct will run for roughly 15 minutes and will provide an “in-dpeth look at Mario’s latest 2D side-scrolling adventure.” The game itself was revealed during June’s stacked Nintendo Direct, showing off its reality-warping gameplay and classic Mario side-scrolling action.

Kicking you right in the nostaligia centre, this will be the first Mario title to release after the retirement of long-time voice actor Charles Martinet. Mario won’t be voiced by the recognisable (and lovely) man, which feels awfully strange indeed.
