The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have announced a Pokémon Presents showcase that will take place on Tuesday, February 28, at 1am AEDT.
Announced on Twitter, the showcase will take place on Pokémon Day and feature 20 minutes of “exciting Pokémon news.”
The announcement for the showcase is accompanied by a short, 15-second clip that sprinkles in a few clues and hints at what we might be seeing next Tuesday. We see a Pikachu-shaped TV with sprites of various Generation One Pokémon spinning around before the opening theme for Pokémon Blue/Red kicks in. Putting my tinfoil hat on, I would say that we’re likely to see some kind of return to the Kanto region.
