A Silent Hill Remake Has Been Announced And It’s Being Developer By Bloober Team

A fear of blood…

Publisher Konami has revealed that a Silent Hill Remake is currently in development at Polish studio Bloober Team.

The reveal came as the “one last thing” during Konami’s Press Start presentation, which took place late last night. The reveal trailer is short and vague, with the title appearing from within a thick cloud of fog as music from the original game plays in the background. Little more has been revealed at this point, other than Konami making horror fans feel all nostalgic by sharing the short trailer alongside the opening line from the game: “The fear of blood tends to create fear for the flesh.”

You can watch the very brief Silent Hill Remake reveal trailer here:

Our hopes are high for Bloober Team’s rendition of the original Silent Hill, considering how well the team managed to bring the beloved second game in the series into the modern day. There are plenty of points of difference between the original and its sequel, but we’ll stay optimistic that Bloober can strike again.
