Big Ant CEO Ross Symons has shared the news that the cover stars for AFL 23 will be revealed at the game’s launch on March 22, as well as the first look at live gameplay.
Posting on the popular sports forum BigFooty, Symons wrote the following:
“You’re reading it here on BigFooty first 😉
For those looking at Nacon Connect today for news, AFL 23 was absent because the AFL are doing a HUGE official game launch on 22 March.
We’re going to unveiling of the cover, with the featured players in attendance.
We’ll also give a glimpse of the first trailer, along with a full feature list and live gameplay.
There will be media and regulars from here in attendance – I’m sure they will report back on all you want to know.
PS: I’m still working on some at-retail live play sessions – more on that will follow soon.“
While it’s unclear whether the live gameplay footage will be published online after the event, it’s exciting that we’ll be able to see the game in action well before it hits shelves on April 13 (we’ll be attending the event).
