AFL Evolution 2 Added To PSN Store – Is A Release Date Imminent?

We’re less than a month away from the start of the 2020 AFL season and footy fever is starting to take hold of fans all over Australia. The Supercoach and AFL Dream Team sites are getting a work out thanks to all the armchair experts vying for bragging rights against their mates in their fantasy leagues, tipping competitions are being set up across pubs all over Melbourne so punters can try and win themselves a pot and parma after a perfect tipping weekend, and the AFL is about to have its first State of Origin game in over ten years to raise funds for the recent bushfire victims. However, despite all the fanfare there’s still no word on when fans can get their hands on AFL Evolution 2 – a game that has had its fair share of troubles since it was announced in 2018.

However, it seems that a release date may be coming soon, as the game was discovered to have been added to the PlayStation Network Store database by a bot that tracks new additions to the store. There’s no further information provided as the listing is not currently active, but this can only be a good sign and hopefully means that an announcement of some sort is on its way. Perhaps during the State of Origin game?

AFL Evolution 2 will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2020.
