Ubisoft has announced the next major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, titled Dawn of Ragnarök, that’s set to release on March 10, 2022.
Continuing the post-launch content for the game, Dawn of Ragnarök will have Eivor falling back into a slumber to relive their past life as Odin once more. In this mythological DLC, Odin/Eivor will be tasked with travelling to Svartleheim to seek the aid of the dwarves after Surtr, the demonic ruler of Muspelheim has taken Baldr captive.
Hell-bent on the destruction of Asgard, Surtr is amassing a force that consists of the fiery fiends of Muspelheim and the frost giants of Jotunheim, so players will have a lot to deal with. In order to combat these seemingly insurmountable odds, players will be given new godly abilities and gear to fight back against Surtr’s advances.
The expansion will set you back AU$59.95 and will require the main game to play. Those who pre-order the DLC between now and April 9 will also be entitled to the Dellingr’s Envoy Raven Skin, the Havardr Lynx Mount, the Twilight Gear Set and the Algurnir Dane Axe Weapon.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the best entries in the long-running franchise (we gave it a 9) and the Asgardian levels were some of the highlights, so it’s great to see this expansion taking players back there.
