Aussie-Made Boomer Shooter Bears In Space Launching In March

A demo is available now too

Queensland’s Broadside Games and publisher Ravenscourt have announced that Bears in Space will launch on March 22 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Bears in Space has been seven years in the making, with the team of three aiming to capture the fun nature of early 2000s shooters, such as TimeSplitters. The premise sees players take on the role of Maxwell Atoms, a Spacetronaut whose DNA has been merged with the she-bear Beartana, as he endeavours to find his way back to Earth.

If this sounds like your kind of porridge, you can check out the game’s demo on Steam during the Next Fest (Feb 6–13) to get a taste of what’s to come in March.

Bears in Space was one of our 12 Aussie-Made Games To Have On Your Radar In 2024, let us know if you’re keen to check out the fast-paced shooter in the comments or on social media.
