Battlefield 6’s PC Requirements And Features Have Been Revealed

Modest, just like us

Battlefield Studios and EA have revealed the minimum, recommended, and ultra PC specs required to run Battlefield 6, as well as the various features available to PC players.

Following a massively successful open beta, Battlefield Studios has finally lifted the lid on the exact PC requirements for Battlefield 6, and they’re pretty reasonable, all things considered. I’m far from a PC expert, but even as a novice in the field, I can understand that the required and recommended specs aren’t as insane as you might expect from a game of this scope. The only thing to keep an eye on, and it’s fairly run-of-the-mill these days, is that the storage requirements listed are only at launch, as additional content will be coming post-launch.

Here are the PC requirements for Battlefield 6:

In addition to all of the admin, Battlefield Studios also revealed the various PC-specific features that will be present in Battlefield 6. Announced with another action-packed trailer, we know that the first-person shooter will include:

  • 4K visuals
  • Uncapped frame rates
  • Ultrawide support
  • NVIDIA DLSS, Intel XeSS, and AMD FSR support
  • Javelin Anti-Cheat
  • Over 600 PC customisation options

Like many of you, I joined the open beta and had a great time learning maps, getting acquainted with the classes, and getting sniped from a mile away on Liberation Peak. A few weeks prior to that, I had the opportunity to play a larger slice of the multiplayer suite during the Multiplayer Reveal Event in Los Angeles. As I explain in my full preview, I came away from my hands-on time with the game’s multiplayer with a sense that fans of Battlefield 3 and 4 will feel very catered to, in the best way possible.

I also sat down with DICE producers David Sirland and Alexia Christofi to discuss the importance of player feedback and the vital role playtesting has played in the development of Battlefield 6. There are plenty of interesting insights, so I encourage you to read the full interview if you enjoyed what you played during the beta.
