Unsurprisingly, it was today announced that EA were in development (probably with DICE) of a sequel to their latest release, Star Wars: Battlefront. Our very own Taylor Jeffrey reviewed the game which released on November 17th last year and gave the game a 7.5, with the main negative being the glaring lack of content, which it still receives flak for to this day. You can read the review here.
It has also been revealed that the game will apparently feature “bigger and better worlds” and make use of content from “the new movies”.
Alongside this it was also revealed that the shooter has shipped 14 million copies, which was an increase by around 7.7% since January’s stat of 13 million copies shipped.
The news of the new game featuring content from the new movies is good because the first release primarily featured scenes from the original trilogy in what little content it had.
