Battletoads Is Finally Releasing This August

The toads are back!

Ever since its announcement back at E3 2018, the reboot of Rare’s Battletoads has barely been sighted, even surprisingly missing out on featuring in the recent Xbox Games Showcase, which led to many people wondering what exactly was happening with the project.

Thankfully the game is still a thing, and not only is it a thing, but Xbox has announced today that the game will drop on August 20 on Xbox, PC (Steam and Microsoft Store) and, of course, Game Pass.

Developed by both Rare and Dlala Studios, this reboot of Battletoads will include a mix of beat-em-up, platforming and bike racing gameplay, and is backed by an iconic 90s Saturday morning cartoon art style.
